Is there any official word on Online for VI at launch?

Question

Asking because our friend group is planning a launch weekend together and I keep telling them it's single player only at launch. Someone linked a video claiming online is in from day one.

As far as I can find, Rockstar has only talked about the story, and multiplayer has no date. Has anyone seen anything official that says otherwise?

Rae · Accepted Answer

No date, no name, nothing official. Anything else is a YouTube thumbnail.

For reference, Online for V came out two weeks after the game. So even if it's "soon", don't plan a group weekend around it.

Dre · Answer

that video guy says online is day one every year for every game

Marcela · Answer

I didn't see nothing official. Only rumors that online comes 2027. For me is better, first I want the story without kids in tanks lol

Tomás · Answer

Thanks. That's what I thought. Story weekend it is, separately, together.
